Role overview

Who we’re looking for: To be successful in this role you will most likely be experienced in the following. In leading several different projects simultaneously.

Engineering work involved

Lead our education projects. Responsible for leading a team of engineers, energy modellers and BIM technicians to deliver projects from concept design to the RIBA Stage 3 draft Contactor Proposal stages. Upon successful selection for the project from our client you will manage the project through the Final Contractor Proposal stage.

Technical skills and requirements

• Client engagement through the CEM (Client engagement meeting) process and fast track pace required for these projects.
• We have a Preferred Supplier List of trusted partners to assist us when required and do not acknowledge any speculative CVs or unsolicited candidate introductions from agencies not.
• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

• RPS is currently seeking an Principal Mechanical Engineer for the Education Group at either the Birmingham or Manchester office and the role allows for hybrid working.
