Principal Product Safety Engineer

Principal Product Safety Engineer focuses on responsible for product safety strategy/argument assessment against major subsystems or key complex technologies.

What the role involves

• Responsible for product safety strategy/argument assessment against major subsystems or key complex technologies.
• Production of high-quality submissions including hazard logs, safety cases and safety plans.
• Review meetings and contribute to other HAZIDs when required.
• Working with the Technical Authority teams and embedded Safety Engineers in collating adequate product safety related evidence to support the safety case argument and acceptance vi.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• £70,000- £74,000 dependent upon experience.
• Can be based in Broad Oak, Frimley, New Malden or Filton and offers a hybrid working pattern.
• This will be working a 37 hour week with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
