Principal Public Health Engineer focuses on leading design of above-ground foul drainage systems in accordance with bs en 12056-2.
What the role involves
- Leading design of above-ground foul drainage systems in accordance with BS EN 12056-2.
- Overseeing gravity and siphonic roof drainage design (BS EN 12056-3).
- Reviewing installation requirements in line with BS EN 12056-5.
- Integrating drainage systems within architectural, structural and MEP coordination models (BIM).
- Providing technical solutions covering ventilation, acoustics, fire-stopping and backflow prevention.
- Conducting high-level technical reviews of calculations, drawings and specifications.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
