This Principal/Senior Land Quality Consultant opportunity in Harwell, Rotherham is built around project Management: Plan and deliver projects on time and within budget, including scheduling, resource allocation, and co-ordination with clients and subcontractors. Main responsibilities

Project Management: Plan and deliver projects on time and within budget, including scheduling, resource allocation, and co-ordination with clients and subcontractors. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, providing clear updates on project progress, risks, and p. Technical Leadership: Act as a technical authority on land quality projects, guiding investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies.

Requirements

  • Other: Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Progress towards (or attainment of) a relevant chartership (, CGeol, CEnv) and/or Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC) accreditation is advantageous.
  • HSE Focus: Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.

Job details

  • Contribute to proposals and bids, identifying opportunities to expand our land quality services and strengthen client relationships.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant UK legislation, including Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act and Environmental Permitting Regulations, and experience apply.
  • Project Delivery: Proven record of successfully delivering medium-sized projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and team co-ordination.
  • Education: Degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering or a related subject (MSc or higher desired).
