How the role is set up
You'll receive comprehensive training during a 5 1/2-week course and ongoing support from experienced colleagues. We are operational /6, and you’ll be expected to cover various early and late shifts, with a minimum of hours per week.

Conduct risk assessments, check the vehicle for necessary equipment, and use appropriate vehicles for transport. Arrive at the vehicle depot, attend briefings, and receive route details and detainee information. Engage with young detainees during transport, providing reassurance and support, while maintaining professional distance with adult detainees.
