Process Operative

Process Operative focuses on you leave work in the same condition you arrive.

What the role involves

• You leave work in the same condition you arrive.
• You process safe product for our customers, right first time, in a clean and controlled environment.
• You work well with your peers and under the direction of the Shift Manager to undertake the above, and any other duties commensurate with the role.
• Running the extruder, dryer, coater cooler and bulk storage incl. all necessary technical checks and recording.
• Capture, segregation, and transfer of waste for rework.
• Clean as you go, and wider site cleaning as and when required.

Skills and requirements

• Manufacturing background. Preferably in food, pet food or FMCG.
• Awareness of BRC.
• IOSH Working Safely.
• Some awareness of CI tools and techniques.

Confirmed role details

• Reporting to the Shift Manager, this role is responsible for the processing (via milling and extrusion, drying and coating) of animal food, safely, to the required finished standar.
