Procurement Consultant

Procurement Consultant focuses on managing and delivering end-to-end procurement services, including strategy development, tender documentation, evaluation and contract award.

What the role involves

• Managing and delivering end-to-end procurement services, including strategy development, tender documentation, evaluation and contract award.
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the consultancy’s procurement service offering.
• Contributing to the delivery of team and wider business targets and performance indicators.
• Advising on and supporting the use of appropriate procurement routes and procedures (including those governed by Public and Utilities Contract Regulations or equivalent).
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across contract services, commercial, claims and disputes teams to provide integrated solutions to clients.

Skills and requirements

• A degree (BSc or equivalent) in quantity surveying, civil engineering, law, procurement, or another construction.
• Ideally CIPS qualified (or working towards CIPS or an equivalent professional procurement qualification).

Candidate fit
