Procurement Coordinator focuses on process purchase orders in line with internal requirements.
What the role involves
- Process purchase orders in line with internal requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers while supporting pricing discussions and evaluating performance.
- Coordinating shipments, deliveries, logistics arrangements, and customs documentation where required.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and stock levels.
- Monitoring and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Resolving issues relating to damaged goods, incorrect shipments, or delivery delays.
Skills and requirements
- Experience within procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or buying roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing, electronics, or technical environments.
Confirmed role details
- Saffron Walden, Essex – fully Onsite role, 5 days per week (must be able to travel between sites).
