Production Engineer

Production Engineer focuses on to manage the process design & implementation of between 3-4 new development projects at any given time.

What the role involves

• To manage the process design & implementation of between 3-4 new development projects at any given time.
• Deliver all projects within a 12-month cycle.
• To complete mechanical product design concepts & development for a variety of projects.
• To support prototype, pilot build & mass manufacturing process development across UK & China sites.
• Build & qualification. Either outsourced or using the in-house CNC & 3D printing machines at MK.
• To use/understand internal Systems/Software such as Aras, Avante, MES, Cut 2D CNC, Rhino/Fusion 360 3D design, Draftsight, CAD.

Skills and requirements

• Working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 Standards.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel.
• 3 plus years’ experience working in Manufacturing/Production Engineering environment.

Confirmed role details

• SMA, Hybrid assembly, Production Test, Dicing Line, Diced product Automatic Line, FHP Moulding Line, Encapsulation & Laser marking.
• 23 days holidays (increase to 26 after a period of time) Also the opportunity to an additional 4 days annual leave based on sick and working from home limits.
