Production Engineer
Job description
The Production Engineer position in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering centres on carrying out planned repair and maintenance of printing and bookbinding machinery, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards. Where ownership sits
Conduct daily repair, maintenance, and inspection of ancillary site and building equipment. Recommend and implement improvements or modifications to electrical systems and machinery.

Carry out planned repair and maintenance of printing and bookbinding machinery, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards. Supporting installation and project work on equipment within the printing and bookbinding trade, as well as other site equipment. Work independently and proactively to maintain high standards of maintenance and health & safety.

What the role depends on
- Experience with industry standard systems and processes (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 27001).
- City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of production machinery.
Practical details
- Our client, an established Bindery firm based near Padstow are seeking a permanent electrical engineer to join their team.
- Shift pattern will be arranged.
- £35,000-£45,000 per annum.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
