Production Engineer
Production Engineer focuses on carry out planned repair and maintenance of printing and bookbinding machinery, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
What the role involves
- Carry out planned repair and maintenance of printing and bookbinding machinery, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.
- Supporting installation and project work on equipment within the printing and bookbinding trade, as well as other site equipment.
- Work independently and proactively to maintain high standards of maintenance and health & safety.
- Assisting in supervising and training apprentices.
- Perform regular testing (PAT, fixed wiring inspections, RCD testing) to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience in the maintenance.
- City & Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- £35,000-£45,000 per annum.
- Shift pattern will be arranged.
