What the role involves

• Manage production workflow across fabrication and assembly to maintain a smooth operation and on‑time delivery.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks, driving improvements to efficiency and right‑first‑time quality.
• Leading from the front on the shop floor, maintaining strong presence, authority, and technical credibility.
• Develop a high‑performing production team, with clear expectations, accountability, and ongoing skills development.
• Own key supplier and finishing relationships, improving consistency, preparation, and outcomes while reducing rework.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a senior workshop leadership role.
• Experience in bespoke or high‑end manufacturing environments e.g. lighting, architectural metalwork, electrical products.
• Strong track record delivering high‑quality bespoke products.
• Experience leading and developing skilled shop‑floor teams.
