Production Technician focuses on electro-mechanical assembly and testing of products and sub-assemblies.

What the role involves

• Electro-mechanical assembly and testing of products and sub-assemblies.
• Recording, documenting, and maintaining production/test data.
• Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical documentation.
• Working within clean room procedures for opto-mechanical assembly where required.

Skills and requirements

• Formal engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• Good understanding of electronic fundamentals.
• Experience with troubleshooting, fault finding, and debugging.
• SMT soldering experience (including fine-pitch components) and PCB repair skills.
