Production Technician

Production Technician focuses on supporting the scale-up of synthetic inorganic and fluorination processes to kilogram-plus scale.

What the role involves

• Supporting the scale-up of synthetic inorganic and fluorination processes to kilogram-plus scale.
• Manufacture materials for internal validation, customer sampling, and downstream applications.
• Perform quality control (QC) and stage-gate analytical testing of inorganic and fluorinated materials.
• Maintain accurate experimental and production records.
• Monitor pilot-scale reactor systems (up to 100 L) and associated plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of process equipment.

Skills and requirements

• Hands-on experience with bench or pilot-scale chemical processes.
• Experience working with reactor systems (e.g. jacketed vessels >10 L) or similar equipment.
• Understanding of process safety considerations in chemical scale-up.
• Experience maintaining laboratory or pilot equipment.
