Job description

Description

The Programme Management Lead will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Supply Chain Transformation Programme, a critical initiative aimed at repositioning Supply Chain as a key driver of business growth. This role is responsible for ensuring the programme delivers its strategic outcomes by redesigning the operating model and embedding a culture of delivery excellence across the function.

The role holds accountability for programme governance and execution across multiple projects and workstreams, translating strategic priorities into clear, executable delivery plans and managing dependencies across a complex landscape. Success in this role requires strong programme management capability, change leadership expertise, and the ability to partner with—and constructively challenge—senior leaders to drive effective and sustained transformation.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Define and execute the Program's vision, objectives, and scope, including the establishment of formal milestones, delivery plans, and value drivers.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive Program plan, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and progress tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate effective governance structures, including managing the Steering Committee and Executive Sponsorship Group, and documenting decisions, actions, and Program milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify interdependencies, mitigate risks, and manage change, ensuring alignment across related Programs and projects.
  • Oversee and support Project Managers by providing leadership, resources, and guidance to ensure projects align with the overall Program objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy, encompassing employee communications, training, and establishing a change agent network.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance objectives for the Program, and manage the tracking and reporting of benefits realization post-delivery.
  • Engage with external vendors and internal partners to coordinate third-party management and ensure compliance, risk control, and successful project rollout
  • Experience

  • Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale programmes within a matrixed organisation, with a strong focus on outcomes rather than activity.
  • Extensive experience managing programmes end to end, from concept inception (including defining success criteria) through to delivery, on time and within budget.
  • Experience influencing and engaging senior management and executive-level stakeholders within large organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining delivery momentum in complex environments and navigating programme challenges across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Experience driving delivery in a remote-first environment across multiple time zones.
  • Experience supporting business case development and annual budget preparation processes.
  • Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to ensure strategic vision is clearly understood and translated into executable plans.
  • Solid understanding of change programme implementation best practices and associated challenges.
  • High level of resilience and adaptability in dynamic, complex environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a data-driven, analytical mindset.
