Project Manager focuses on planning manager to lead the planning and consenting phase of nationally significant infrastructure projects through to final investment decision (fid).
What the role involves
- Planning Manager to lead the planning and consenting phase of nationally significant infrastructure projects through to Final Investment Decision (FID).
- Managing the planning and consenting process for NSIP schemes from early development through submission and decision.
- Leading and coordinating DCO (Development Consent Order) or DNS (Developments of National Significance) applications.
- Overseeing and contributing to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes.
- Managing consultant teams, programs, and budgets during the consenting phase.
- Supporting clients through statutory consultation and stakeholder engagement.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience managing or supporting projects through a DCO or DNS application.
- Expert-level understanding of the NSIP planning regime.
- Direct involvement in EIA applications and coordination of technical inputs.
- Experience working on major infrastructure or large-scale development projects.
