Project Manager focuses on delivering technical projects according to the specifications and customer briefs.

What the role involves

  • Delivering technical projects according to the specifications and customer briefs.
  • Providing updates on the project’s progress to relevant contacts.
  • Maintaining all relevant project documentation and the knowledgebase.
  • Providing support to resolve change management issues.
  • Liaising with the Sales team to produce new business proposals and to review customers’ existing infrastructures, suggesting areas for modernisation.
  • Ensuring all time spent on projects is recorded accurately within the system.

Skills and requirements

  • Be working with both internal and external customers to ensure projects are successfully delivered within the required timeframes and specifications.
  • 2 years or more experience working within an IT support environment or for a Managed Service Provider.
  • At least 1 formal IT qualification (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA, MSCA & MSCE) or proven experience.
  • Exposure to virtualisation and cloud technologies including VMware, Hyper V and Azure environments.
