Project Manager

The Project Manager position in Defence centres on managing projects at the initial RFQ stage, liaising with subcontractors to understand their processes. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

How the role is set up

Work with the minimum of supervisionTo have a sound understanding of quality management systems - ISO9001 and AS9100, GS3001 standards. Core shift - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm with 30-minute break for lunch.

Management responsibilities

Managing projects at the initial RFQ stage, liaising with subcontractors to understand their processes. Coordinating priorities, people, activity, budgets, projects, or operational standards according to the role.

Leadership skills and experience

• GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
• Strong Mechanical Engineering background ideally HNC or higher (Desirable).
