Project Manager focuses on delivering complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key tesco business priorities.

What the role involves

• Delivering complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key Tesco business priorities.
• Establish new or improve existing delivery methodology to deliver the programme goals.
• Create and track a plan to deliver the programme goals, including the technical implementation plan.
• Understand trade-offs in software delivery, using experience and influencing skills to drive consensus with the Engineering and Product teams to obtain the best value and solution.
• Am able to foresee potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion.

Skills and requirements

• A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology and/or infrastructure.
• Experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management & leadership teams.
• Strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills.

Confirmed role details

• The Payroll technology team are responsible for the payroll applications that we use to pay colleagues across the globe.
• There are a variety of programmes in progress at any one time in order to step change how we pay and reward colleagues.
• Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
• 26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (after 1 years service) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, we also offer 6 weeks fully pa.
