Project Manager
Project Manager focuses on managing engineering assurance across design, construction, commissioning and handover.
What the role involves
- Managing engineering assurance across design, construction, commissioning and handover.
- Ensuring health, safety, quality, environmental and welfare considerations are embedded into all design decisions.
- Providing technical support to bids, tenders and client submissions.
- Leading and developing Design Managers and wider engineering teams.
- Promoting continuous improvement, lessons learned and engineering excellence across projects.
- Supporting collaborative delivery models aligned with Project 13 principles where applicable.
Skills and requirements
- Degree qualification in a relevant infrastructure engineering discipline.
- Significant experience within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment.
- Strong background in design management, engineering governance and project delivery.
- Experience within highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, infrastructure or major projects.
