Property Solicitor focuses on liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, hm land registry, local authorities and other third parties to obtain documentation.

What the role involves

• Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, surveyors, HM Land Registry, local authorities and other third parties to obtain documentation.
• Managing client funds and client account transactions, approve disbursement requests where authorised.
• Ensure accurate billing and fee recovery in accordance with firm policies and SRA rules.
• Update electronic case files, recording clear case notes, milestones and actions to support file reviews, audits and smooth handovers where required.
• Assist with the adoption of conveyancing technology and workflow tools to support continuous improvement across the team.
• Support induction and training activities to promote best practice within the team.

Skills and requirements

• With over 15 years of experience, we connect law firms and conveyancing practices with the talent they need to grow.
• Qualified solicitor with experience handling residential conveyancing matters in a law firm or conveyancing practice.
• Practising certificate and up‑to‑date compliance with SRA requirements essential.
• Proven experience managing a varied caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold matters, with the ability to handle complex or non‑standard transac.
