What the role involves

• Are you able to manage a varied caseload.
• The Property Services Surveyor will support the Senior Property Surveyor with complex cases, contribute to contractor management.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure a safe, compliant, and customer-focused repairs and planned maintenance service.
• Be expected to prepare clear, detailed work specifications, schedules and drawings, and to scope, specify, and raise works orders using schedules of rates or composite values.
• Requires the ability to support responses to escalated complaints, Members’ enquiries and complex cases, working collaboratively under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor.

Skills and requirements

• Do you have experience monitoring contractor performance and quality?
• A skilled and motivated Property Surveyor with experience delivering high‑quality surveying services across a diverse local authority housing portfolio, including occupied and void.
• Site work in the borough will be required.
