Proposal Engineer

Proposal Engineer focuses on development of technical documents (process description, pfd, p&id).

What the role involves

• Development of technical documents (Process Description, PFD, P&ID).
• Contract review and negotiation.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical, chemical or environmental engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in water/wastewater treatment.
• Assisting the Sales team with initial lead qualification, development of opportunities through technical and commercial guidance.
• Process design development (often in consultation with experts in global teams), cost model evaluation, and pricing with commercial awareness of the market.

Skills and requirements

• 3+ years' proven track record in water/wastewater operations, engineering or bid management.
• Commercial acumen, including contract law and financial principles.
• Flexibility to travel within the UK and EU (driving licence preferred).

Confirmed role details

• Process water applications, primarily using an existing fleet of mobile and containerised water treatment plants.
• Holiday allowance 26 days plus Bank Holidays with the option to buy or sell additional days off.
• Primary Care pay of 13 weeks full pay from Day 1.
• Options of remote work, flexible work hours, adjusted schedules, and paid or unpaid leave.
