What the role involves
- As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide academic, behavio.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Assisting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Supporting behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
- Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence.
Skills and requirements
- A Psychology degree from a UK university.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting children.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Previous experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
