What the role involves

• As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide academic, behavio.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Assisting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Supporting behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and independence.

Skills and requirements

• A Psychology degree from a UK university.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting children.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Previous experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
