PVC Pipework Technician

PVC Pipework Technician focuses on install pvc components and piping according to project specifications and engineering drawings.

What the role involves

• Install PVC components and piping according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
• Cut, join, and fit PVC materials using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect PVC components for defects or damage.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area adhering to health and safety policies.
• Assisting in inventory management of PVC materials.
• Report stock levels to the Stores Operative.

Skills and requirements

• Basic Knowledge and familiar with industrial and municipal water industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge and proven experience of mechanical assembly and PVC/ABS pipework installations on packaged skid equipment and within plant rooms from ½” to 12”.
• Site environment and qualified mechanical installation and maintenance.
• Recognised qualifications related to health and safety in a manufacturing.
