What the role involves

• To assist Technical manager in the operation of the systems to ensure compliance to internal, third party and retailer requirements.
• Assisting with customer site visits and other third party audits.
• To manage the QA team to ensure that the day to day tasks are completed so that the site complies with all relevant legislation and customer requirements.
• Ensure that the traceability system is correctly operated through all stages of production manufacture from raw material intake to finished product despatch.
• Ensure raw materials arriving in the department are of a specified quality and standard.
• Ensure that the process of manufacture is audited against the agreed standards.
