Qualified Diagnostic Technician

Qualified Diagnostic Technician focuses on conduct visual health checks (vhc’s), and carry out detailed diagnostics, inspections, repairs and services, including the understanding of the techniques required for hv vehicles.

What the role involves

• Conduct visual health checks (VHC’s), and carry out detailed diagnostics, inspections, repairs and services, including the understanding of the techniques required for HV vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle servicing, inspections and repairs are completes in-line with both internal and manufacturer requirements.
• Have a clear understanding of the warranty process, to complete diagnostic reports.
• Record work done and tests carried out and immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults.
• Completing road tests and signing off all the necessary warranty repairs.
• Interpret instructions from the job cards/repair order, complying with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers’ manuals, bulletins.

Skills and requirements

• We are currently looking for a Qualified Diagnostic Technician, to join us at our Main car dealership in Letchworth Garden City.

Confirmed role details

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm, alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm.
