Skills and requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

• Full-Time, Permanent.
• We are partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in the Darlington area to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a permanent position.
• Weekly PAYE pay with no umbrella companies.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Candidate fit

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for suitable applicants.
• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Supporting students in developing strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.
