Quality and Risk Coordinator focuses on supporting the local management and coordination of incident reporting, ensuring timely documentation.

What the role involves

• Supporting the local management and coordination of incident reporting, ensuring timely documentation.
• Review, and closure of incidents in line with policy.
• Assisting in the investigation of adverse events, near misses, and complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and action planning.
• Maintaining accurate risk registers and escalate significant risks to relevant governance forums.
• Coordinating internal audits, inspections, and quality monitoring activities across departments, ensuring action plans are implemented and reviewed.
• Assisting with compliance tracking against CQC, HIS, HIW, or equivalent standards, including preparation for inspections and reviews.

Skills and requirements

• Experience working in a quality, risk, governance, or clinical support role in a healthcare or regulatory environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, including minute-taking.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £35,576.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
• This is a part-time role for 30 hours a week.
• Cover a flexible shift pattern.
• 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service.
