Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer focuses on work with customers and vendors to resolve issues and address questions and concerns.

What the role involves

• Work with customers and vendors to resolve issues and address questions and concerns.
• To review operating procedures by means of monitoring and.
• Or auditing to ensure their effectiveness and compliance, in conjunction with the company auditing procedures, including associated reports.
• Assisting in maintaining a clean working environment and policy, to ensure components are free from contamination and foreign objects, and consistent quality environmental and health.
• Performing other duties as deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum three years’ experience working to aerospace quality systems.
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal, Composites, Mechanical Assemblies and Manufacturing methods.
• Production floor experience in defect reduction.

Additional role context

• Maintaining AS9100/ ISO9001 Quality system requirements as they pertain to the business including inspection.
• Maintaining external accreditation bodies and internal requirements, working as part of a team.
• Release conforming product in accordance with customer requirements (Certificate of Conformance).
