Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer focuses on supporting the implementation of project quality arrangements and processes.
What the role involves
- Supporting the implementation of project quality arrangements and processes.
- Assisting with Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) and quality assurance programmes.
- Supporting manufacturing surveillance activities and inspections.
- Assisting with Non-Conformance Report (NCR) management and close-out activities.
- Monitoring quality performance and contribute to reporting and metrics.
- Work closely with project teams and supply chain organisations to drive quality improvements.
Skills and requirements
- Experience working within the nuclear sector or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of welding, NDT/NDE and inspection processes.
- Understanding of pressure systems, codes and standards.
- Professional quality qualifications or membership of relevant professional bodies.
Confirmed role details
- Somerset (Full-Time Site Based).
- Contract until December 2026 initially, with a strong likelihood of extension.
- We're currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure programme on a long-term contract basis.
