Quality Engineer focuses on maintain the project quality plan (pqp) in line with water industry standards and project-specific requirements.

What the role involves

  • Maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with water industry standards and project-specific requirements.
  • Test Plan (ITP) during the engineering phase, ensuring that inspection and verification activities are aligned with client, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Work closely with the Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure all ITP and quality requirements are clearly incorporated into purchase orders and subcontracts.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to monitor the submission and approval of QA documentation, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
  • Manage site-based QA activities including inspection coordination, documentation.
  • Test pack control, and compilation of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in QA/QC roles within the water or industrial effluent treatment sectors.
  • Solid understanding of inspection and testing regimes relevant to mechanical, electrical.
  • Process systems in water treatment.
