Quality Inspector
Quality Inspector focuses on perform inspection operations using 3d optical scanners.
What the role involves
- Perform inspection operations using 3D Optical scanners.
- Performing 1st and final inspections using manual and visual techniques.
- Population of the inspection database with all relevant dimensions.
- Sentencing of all parts inspected on optical (Keyence, Scan, OGP) and CMM.
- Supporting the internal non conformance process – raising rejects and ensuring all containment is captured.
- Liaise closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition of new products.
Skills and requirements
- Must be familiar with quality control procedures and standards and have held a quality control role in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to read and interpret engineering and product drawings.
- Strong communication skills and an attention to detail.
- An advantage would be to hold experience of the aerospace industry.
