Quality Manager
Quality Manager focuses on leading the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the quality management system (qms) in line with iso 9001 and relevant industry standards.
What the role involves
- Leading the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
- Driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the business.
- Managing internal, external, customer, and certification audits, ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintained.
- Leading investigations into audit findings, and quality non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Supporting the achievement and maintenance of quality accreditations and customer-specific requirements.
- Ensure accurate completion and control of inspection reports, quality records, calibration records, and manufacturing documentation.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience using a wide range of manual inspection and measuring equipment.
- Experience inspecting precision-machined components to tight tolerances.
- Strong knowledge of the latest ISO quality tools and techniques.
