Quality Manager

The Project Manager position in Civil, Industrial centres on collaborating with project teams to identify and address non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality. It would suit someone who can bring strong leadership and operational judgement to the role.

Who the work supports

Familiarity with construction and project management environments involving civil, industrial, electrical, or mechanical systems. Advanced certifications related to quality control or project management, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or PMP certification.

How support shows up

Collaborating with project teams to identify and address non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality. Managing and enforcing the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) on all facets of the project to ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, and best practices. Reporting directly to a senior corporate official, maintaining independence from the Project Manager as required per contract guidelines.

What needs to be in place

• At least five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering/scientific field, based on a four-year course of study from an accredited ,.
• Prior experience in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce.
