Quality Manager focuses on monitoring quality kpis and work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality, reduce rework.
What the role involves
- Monitoring quality KPIs and work closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve quality, reduce rework.
- Support operational performance.
- Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Managing internal, customer and third-party audits, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented and closed out.
- They are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead.
- Develop their Quality Management System, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and a strong right-first-time culture across the business.
Skills and requirements
- Ensure compliance with traceability, certification and change control requirements.
- Proven Quality Management experience within precision engineering, aerospace or defence manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100-aligned systems, FAIRS, traceability, non-conformance management and metrology principles.
