Quantity Surveyor focuses on monitor project costs including weekly p&l reporting.

What the role involves

  • Monitor project costs including weekly P&L reporting.
  • Review contract documents.
  • Track the progress and cash flow forecast information.
  • Review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports.
  • Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms.
  • Preparing subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotations.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • Ideally you will have experience working in the Utilities industry.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures.
