What the role involves

• Prepare cost plans, valuations, and final accounts for social housing maintenance projects.
• Undertake commercial management of contracts, including measurement, pricing, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with the NHF Schedule of Rates, demonstrating strong knowledge and application across projects.
• Provide proactive advice on cost, procurement, and risk to project teams.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and contractual compliance.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the QS team.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or property services.
• Experience in reactive maintenance projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Manage multiple priorities.
