What the role involves
- Prepare cost plans, valuations, and final accounts for social housing maintenance projects.
- Undertake commercial management of contracts, including measurement, pricing, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with the NHF Schedule of Rates, demonstrating strong knowledge and application across projects.
- Provide proactive advice on cost, procurement, and risk to project teams.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and contractual compliance.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of processes and systems within the QS team.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing or property services.
- Experience in reactive maintenance projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Manage multiple priorities.
