What the role involves

• Plan staff rotas and skill mix maximising the staff resource and equipment capacity across the departments.
• Develop a discrete team within the department including performance matters.
• To be actively involved in the recruitment of new members of staff.
• Give judgement on a variety of complex clinical, staff & operational problems.
• Undertake clinical duties and participate in the 7-day services/ on-call when necessary.
• Take the highly specialist lead role in the Imaging department consummate to expertise.
