Railway Site Supervisor focuses on the coss/pic will ensure the operatives/subcontractors are working safely.

What the role involves

  • The COSS/PiC will ensure the operatives/subcontractors are working safely.
  • Report any deficiencies to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure work volumes are being achieved to scope.
  • Conducting and assisting with site safety inspections.
  • Ensure variations are captured, maximised and clearly defined in line with pricing elements of contract.
  • Ensuring all paperwork for the week ahead is produced and available to teams.

Skills and requirements

  • Rail Experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Arboricultural, fencing (minimum 2 years).
  • Chapter 8 – Signing, Lighting and Guarding.
  • Clean driving licence.
