What the role involves
- Instead, you will provide vital support across the region, helping teams manage staffing shortages.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care throughout their visit to Optegra.
- Supporting patients on surgery days, providing pre- and post-operative care and ensuring effective communication.
- Provide basic health promotion advice related to ophthalmic surgery.
- Assisting in the operating theatre, supporting the entire patient pathway.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector.
Confirmed role details
- This is a full-time, permanent position supporting three hospitals across the region: Bradford, Bowcliffe Hall and York.
- Requires a high level of flexibility and responsiveness, with travel required at a very short notice, either the evening before or on the morning of your shift.
