Reception Teacher focuses on creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment aligned with the eyfs framework.

What the role involves

• Creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Encouraging early communication skills, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
• Observing, assessing, and tracking progress to meet individual learning needs.
• Building strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• Reception Teacher – Full Time.

Candidate fit

• Have experience teaching Reception or EYFS, or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Hold QTS (unqualified teachers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply).
• Demonstrate strong classroom management with a nurturing approach.
