What the role involves
- Experienced pastoral and Early Years support staff to help the Reception Teacher deliver high-quality provision from January 2026.
- Deliver creative, language-rich continuous provision and focused adult-led sessions as the Reception Teacher.
- As Reception Teacher you will plan.
- The Reception Teacher will lead daily phonics, early reading and early maths routines, assessing children against the Early Learning Goals and planning next steps as the Reception.
- Lead transition into Year 1 and contribute to whole-school events.
- The Reception Teacher will engage families.
Skills and requirements
- QTS/EYTS or equivalent and proven Reception experience expected of the Reception Teacher.
- A Reception Teacher who is reflective, organised and passionate about early learning.
- The Reception Teacher will be supported by senior leaders and will be given opportunities for professional development after January 2026.
