• Leading transition work with Year 1 colleagues.

• Supporting colleagues in consistent EYFS approaches across the setting.

Skills and requirements

• Work within a nurturing primary school in Sutton.
• Reception Teacher to lead a reflective and play-informed EYFS provision.
• The successful Reception Teacher will plan rich learning environments, track progress carefully and work closely with parents to support children’s development.
• This Reception Teacher role will be central to the school’s EYFS leadership and to transition planning into Year 1.

Candidate fit

• Qualified teacher with demonstrable Reception/EYFS experience.
• Secure knowledge of the Early Learning Goals and strong assessment practice.
• Warm, organised and collaborative, with an ability to build trust with families.

Additional role context
