Recovery Worker focuses on managing and improve their own physical and mental well-being.
What the role involves
- Managing and improve their own physical and mental well-being.
- Develop life-skills including budgeting, money management, tenancy sustainment, access to public services, further education and/or employment and living well in the community.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Due to the nature of the role a driving licence and access to a car is essential.
- 27 days’ annual leave, rising to 32 after 1 year (plus bank holidays).
- Pension scheme with 4.5% employer contribution, matched up to 6.5%.

- Salary:£25,877.80 - £30,868 salary will be pro rata'd.
- 30 Roper Street Whitehaven Cumbria CA28 7BS.
- 30 hours per week.
- Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.
Additional role context
- We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
