What the role involves

  • Repair refrigeration assets (display cases, freezers, cold rooms, chillers, packs, condensers).
  • Diagnose faults using engineering skills and monitoring systems (RDM, Monika).
  • Ensure compliance and documentation.
  • Modern Systems: Work with A1 refrigerants, hydrocarbons, and A2Ls like R455a.

Skills and requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or relevant experience).
  • F-Gas Category 1 certificate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
