What the role involves
- Leading the daily operations of the home, ensuring consistently high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people.
- Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards, including audits and Ofsted readiness.
- Recruiting, supervising, and developing a high-performing, motivated care team.
- Taking the lead on safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and staff.
- Building strong working relationships with local authorities, schools, health services, and other stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement and development across the home and organisation.
