What the role involves

  • Delivering compassionate and effective care to patients with acute mental health conditions.
  • Plan, and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions to patients and their families.
  • Record patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients through proactive risk management.

Skills and requirements

  • Valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Proven experience in acute mental health settings.
  • At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the mental health sector.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex care needs.
