What the role involves

  • Evaluating residents’ health conditions and needs, developing appropriate nursing care plans.
  • Providing direct patient care including wound dressing, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Providing emotional support and therapeutic communication to residents and their families.
  • Supporting the delivery of services including palliative care to the terminally ill.

Skills and requirements

  • Successful applicants, will have 1-2 years experience preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Care regulations and legislation including Health & Safety and Adult Safeguarding.
  • Care planning and implementation ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Experience of working in a care setting.
