Registered Nurse focuses on deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
What the role involves
- Deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team.
- Prioritize nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonable.
- Helps to promote and to maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient.
- Work in accordance with safeguarding adult and children policies and requirements.
- Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met.
Skills and requirements
- Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC).
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills.
- The ability to supervise other staff members comfortably and competently.
Confirmed role details
- 36 hours per week.
- Day shifts, Night shift.
- Our qualified nursing team are available 24 hours a day to provide medical and other forms of specialized support.
- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, between £20 per hour.
